SUMMER TOURNAMENT AND BBQ

SATURDAY 30th August 2025

Assembly (ready to start shooting) 09:45, Sighters 10:00.

There will be 4 Club Championship Rounds for which medals will be awarded. Individual catagory awards will be dependent on entry numbers. 

To ensure we are fully enclusive of all our members we have again chosen to shoot the round formally known as nationals - ArcheryGB now refers to them as N[Distnance].  These are 72 arrows, the first 4 dozen are shot at the longer distance, the remaining 2 dozen at the shorter distance.    You shoot at a full face target with 5 zone scoring.  

We will have alternative rounds this year but feel free to shoot below your catagory as a non championship round.  

As usual there will be a BBQ after the tournament.

Championship Rounds

CLUB COMPOUND CHAMPIONSHIP (Compound only)

Long National - 4 dozen arrows at 80 yards and 2 dozen at 60 Yards.

Gents CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP (Recurve, Longbow and Barebow)

National 50 - 4 dozen arrows at 50 yard and 2 dozen at 40 yard

Ladies CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP (Recurve, Longbow and Barebow)

National 40 - 4 dozen arrows at 40 yards and 2 dozen at 30 yards

CLUB JUNIOR RECURVE CHAMPIONSHIP (Junior or non-championship adult shooting)

National 30 - 4 dozen arrows at 30 yards and 2 dozen at 20 yards

  

Non-Championship Rounds

If you don't want to shoot the championship round for your catagory, feel free to book the the lesser round -  Non Championship rounds are available to all, senior or Junior

Alternative Non-Championship round if you cannot shoot to 50 yards

National 40 - 4 dozen arrows at 40 yards and 2 dozen at 30 yards

 Under 12s Non CHAMPIONSHIP (Junior or non-championship shooting)

20 yards - 6 dozen arrows at 20 yards 

Beginners - Own Equipement Non CHAMPIONSHIP (Adult or Junior )

20 yards - 6 dozen arrows at 20 yards -  You must have participated in a begginers course in 2025with your own equipment.

Beginners - Club Equipement Non CHAMPIONSHIP (Adult or Junior )

20 yards - 6 dozen arrows at 20 yards - You must have participated in a begginers course in 2025 and using club equipment.

Following the tournament there will be a BBQ. 

The BBQ will cost £2.00 for members.

For all guests, the cost per person is £9.00. All family and friends are welcome.
